Hello guys. I just recently ordered some custom sleeved cables from modDIY. I ordered 2 pcie cables. I did so thinking that they would be the same as what came with my power supply and be 8pin+6pin. However when I got them today I realized that they were both only 8 pin.

I have a gtx 780ti which requires a 8pin+6pin. I am wondering since I have 2 8pins can I use both to power the since graphics card? Just leave 2 pins on the second one out?

Yes that would work perfectly.
Most power supply cables are 6+2 design. That way they can be used as a 6 pin or an 8 pin pci-e connector.
