Processor overheating and shutting pc off. Got a new water cooler thinking that was the problem. After hooking up nothing was appearing on either monitor. After spending time googling the problem it shut off again due to overheating 155 degrees F as before. Im thinking it may be the motherboard but im not very tech savvy.

Um well there's a few things you need to check, if your using a heat sink fan remember to plug the power cable in to give it power , located on the motherboard. Also apply the right amount of thermal paste, Boot to bios and check if its overclocking the cpu and lastly don't keep doing tests if it overheats, each time it gets to that state the silicon slightly deforms. After a while it will destroy the cpu.

The cable is in correctly and running. I cannot boot to bios because when i power on nothing happens. The computer looks to be running except the monitor lights don't turn blue they stay orange like when in sleep mode.
