I was using Avast and now I have terrible problems when trying to uninstall it. I noticed today that Skype wasn't working and realised it was Avast interfering so I set about uninstalling it using Revo uninstaller. When I restarted my pc I noticed that my trackpad and keyboard had been disabled and Avast was still in operation down on the right with the passive hidden icons. I put on an external mouse and restored to a previous point where Skype was working but then found I had a problem with AVAST wanting to reboot my PC: every time I reboot I lose trackpad and keyboard functionality. So I then have to restore all over again using an external mouse. I am stuck in an eternal cycle. Is all I can do pay someone to do a clean reinstall of windows? Even when I use revo and then I used App Remover and I just cannot get Avast off, it acts like a virus.
