Directx 12 and CPU performance

Hello,
The directx 12 claims to distribute work better between CPU cores. Could that mean that an 8 core FX-8350 could perform better than an I7-3770k?

Directx12 or not, if the game/application you are using isn't optimized to use 8 cores it won't make any difference.

The number of games using 8 cores is effectively 0 right now and I wouldn't expect that to change in any meaningful way before both of those processors become obsolete.
