While watching videos on YouTube Firefox crashed, after trying to reopen it a few times (kept crashing each time) I got my first BSOD, restarting windows everything looked fine till I tried to open Firefox again and open YouTube, where once more it crashed. Tried a few more times but I ended up getting BSOD with error "memory management" and "pfn list corrupt".

I have windows 7 64bit and using 4 sticks of corsair vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9. Right now im running memtest and I already have more then 220k errors on test 4.

I guess that probably means that one or more sticks are corrupted and I'll have to change it, but is there anything else I could do? I mean memtest is what used by most, but could there be something else I could try? Windows diagnostic memory test gave me zero problems.

There are multiple tests you can try, and they don't all give the same results.

MemTest86: http://www.memtest86.com/

Memtest86+: http://www.memtest.org/

Short of changing the voltage and timing settings for your RAM modules, there is nothing you can do. This will help if the malfunction is being caused by incorrect settings. If you have a hardware defect, nothing short of replacing or removing the defective module will help. Testing each module one at a time, while removing the other three, will help in determining if it's a single module, multiple modules, and which are malfunctioning.

That's what I'm currently doing, I am on second stick and so far zero errors. I'm wondering (and also afraid) if the problem is not the sticks but the motherboard... I really hope that it's not that.

So, one stick was responsible for all these errors, ill contact the retailer and will ask for a replacement. Thanks for your answers, i'll choose as best one bigpinkdragon286 answer as being more informative.

By the way, i was running memtest86+.
