Well, im a big gamer, and after ding some research, im stumped.

I was hoping to get myself 120hz monitors because, well its smooth and definately helps for those fps games.

However, if i am going to be using 3 of them, i cant have them go black on me when im looking at them from an angle (because 2 of them WILL have to be at an angle).

From what the internet has told me, IPS are really the only ones that stay true to their color at angles, but there are no ips panels out there that are over 60hz?

I dont understand where to go. Generally, if i look on the youtubes, people are using 120 and 144hz monitors, and 21:9 rations, and sometimes even 2560 res monitors for their triple set ups? As far as i know, no IPS monitor can do that....so? Are they just powering through the blackness?

If so, that is something that i really do not want to do.

What are my options here?

My budget is around 200 per monitor, 300 max.

They won't go black, they'll just lose a bit of their contrast. I was thinking of going multimonitor for gaming, but then decided to wait for the occulus rift, as it seems to be a better solution for surround gaming.

Yea, i know they wont go completely black, what i meant was that they get darker, ergo, lose their contrast.

Well if you do want a triple screen display, I'd suggest three Dell UltraSharp U2412Ms they are about $280 a piece. It's not like you're going to push much more than 60 fps on a triple display anyway.

yea i dont recomend 120hz monitors for 3 screen setup because it will be really hard to keep 120 fps with 3 screens.

I do recommend ips screens and too look for 5ms ones because even with that you can notice ghosting depends on games. and you need to think about the bezels because they will annoy you if they are big.

Do you have any specific size screen you want?

If not then this 27" ones from asus is awsome its only 0.8 mm bezels and if you put them a little ontop of each other you wont notize the bezel that much and this screens have displayport and hdmi and everything and when you hook up 3 screens one of the screens needs to be connected with a displayport you could always get an active adapter.

i myself is goinf to buy these screens if they are not too big for your you, they looks really good and have all the ports and so you could want and for a really afforadble price
