Is this a good build. Most importantly is everything compatible and will fit fine.

Thanks

Solution
yes it is a very good build
it is a revision of your build with the best bang for the buck parts
no need for soundcard, unless you have $1000 audio system
12 phase VRM mobo, better OC
better ram 1866 LC9. you need no more than 8GB for gaming
cheaper psu
GTX 770
this little optimization will save you $130 :) good luck

It's a pretty decent start, you can definitely do better for your budget. Lose the sound card - it's not required, and 16GB isn't necessary either. If you drop those you can upgrade your GPU:

I put a better GPU and higher wattage PSU in and lost the sound card.

Whats the big difference between the ASRock Z87 and MSI Z87 G45. I didn't know you dont need a sound card! If I were to upgrade the GPU to a GTX 770 would the SeaSonic G 550W power supply be ok.

I would switch out the hyper evo for an h90 or h110 also i would switch out the asrock for an ROG board. But only of you have nice headphones or really value sound quality because ROG boards' integrated sound is amazing.
