I recently received my graphics card, MSI 760, back from RMA. Everything was running fine with my back up card. I swapped them out, and turned my computer on. Everything started up and seems fine, until the windows login screen. That's when my monitor says no DVI signal and goes to sleep. Everything works fine in safe mode however, and I need some help.

Might want to clean out all the GPU drivers, then start afresh with the latest driver

I agree it's likely the drivers.

1) Uninstall, then reinstall latest

2) Set RESOLUTION and Refresh to supported rates (i.e. 1920x1080@60Hz) in Safe Mode if they aren't supported by your monitor.

3) Use a Driver Sweeper program (Google) if you still have issues.

4) Try a different OUTPUT from the card temporarily if that is an option (i.e. VGA or HDMI instead of DVI).

Do you have the proper cable for the DVI port you are using (single or dual DVI), what mobo/CPU?

it's a single dvi, and i have a msi g45 motherboard and a intel i5 4670k

But I just got my computer to come back on in safe mode. So that's a start.

Might try the mobo video connector then go into BIOS and see if Primary video is set to PCI-E

Every time I go into the BIOS, the menu gets fractured and choppy, and part of a blue screen comes up stating "This bin is not correct" or something like that.

How about with on-board video (using the CPUs graphics) this is sounding like a bad GPU

On board video works just fine. I just got my card back from my second RMA. So I'm pretty sure it's the problem

Sounds like it, though it may be your PCI-E slot, might try blowing it out with compressed air....Also note the serial # on your card, if you RMA again, ask for a Brand new card, there's no way you shoud get back two RMAs and both faulty

I don't see how it could be the PCI-E slot, my spare 610 is running fine in it. It's funny how that card works and my 760 doesn't.

Never know, might contact MSI and just ask for a refund or a better card, if you've RMAed twice and then sent bum cards each time

Hmm..
I agree it does start to sound more like the MOTHERBOARD.

My only other main advice for troubleshooting would be to try the card in a different computer if someone will let you.
