Interesting issue.
I recently got a new motherboard. The issue is I cant load up the bios from the post after being prompted to hit f2 or del.
I decided to clone my personal use pc's hard drive and put it to couple with the motherboard. It starts up prompts but again no functions go into the bios. Instead it goes straight into startup and loads up normally.
Is there a way around to enter the bios after the startup or will the board simply have to be rma'd??

It might be an issue with the KEYBOARD and it's not detecting the DEL key.

1) You might try to clear the CMOS (See motherboard manual; often a jumper). I had to do that after changing a setting which ignored my USB (to boot faster).

2) You can also try moving your keyboard USB input to the motherboard one specifically FOR the keyboard (usually at top; see motherboard manual) if it isn't already.

3) You can also try a different keyboard.

4) Also verify the CMOS jumper is NOT connected. I have no idea what that would do though.
