The driver for all optical drives is built in to Windows - - a generic Microsoft driver, but in any event the driver wouldn't account for the drive making a clicking noise, that's for more likely to be a faulty drive, most probably a jammed or sticking tracking mechanism along which the laser pickup travels as it reads or writes data to the disc.
