  1. http://www.hardwarepal.com/battlefield-4-benchmark-mp-cpu-gpu-w7-vs-w8-1/12/

According to that, 2gb is not quite enough. For Battlefield 4 at least. Some other games would probably work fine.
  2. it is almost fine . 770 is a powerful card and can handle this resolution even for bf4 . 2gb is for single monitor setup and 4gb for multi monitor setup
  3. From what I read 4k gaming requires 2x780ti's so no a single 770 wont cut it regardless of vram size

It can handle 1440p with no problem. But I wouldn't play games like bf4 and crysis 3 and few other games on 4k. So only selective games will be playable on 4k with gtx 770, and the rest will run fine on 1440p. If you really wan't 4k then upgrade to r9 290x or gtx 780ti or add one more gtx 770 in sli. That should give you enough playable frames on every game on 4k.
Nvidia is also releasing gtx 780 6 gb version soon, and Amd Sapphire r9 290x Toxic edition will also hit the market with 8gb vram.
So I guess you should sell that gtx 770 and get r9 290x toxic if possible for great performance at 4k.
  5. well let me ask this because it seems a lot o cards are packing more memory if I where to do 1440p gaming and the 2gb vram turns out to be not enough would it be enough if I put 2cards in a SLI config thus making the combined vram 4gb between 2cards

There are some rules of sli and crossfire. If you sli your gpu, then you'll be having two of them for sure. Let's say they both are clocked at 1000 Mhz, that doesn't mean you have 2000 mhz gpu in that box. Same rule follows here, even if you sli it with another 2gb 770, it's vram will not get doubled, it will remain the same (2gb).
Definitely adding one more gtx 770 will give you almost 98% of fps boost on 1080p and a bit less boost on 1440p and 4k.
But surely 2 gtx 770 for 4k gaming will be enough.
If you really wan't to upgrade then sell your current gpu and get a r9 290 or 290x 4gb and then crossfire it later making your rig ideal for 4k.
  7. Just found this, even 2x780 seem stretched at 4k with max detail if you want avg fps over 60 http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/pq321q-4k-gaming,review-32782-4.html
  8. No it is not from my experience because I reach 1.9/2 gb vram playing things like BF4 and PS2 (Sometimes Warthunder IDK why)
