for my 4770k, I want to change the cores clock speed individually on my msi g45 motherboard.

I can't seem to figure out how.
There is an option for boost to set each core clock but I am confused as I can't seem to find it.

Because my cpu seems to have a hot core and I would like to overclock 1 core more then the other to get a better overclock

I don't really understand what you are asking. Look for an advanced bios features section of your motherboard manual, see if you can find what you need there. The advanced options vary motherboard to motherboard. Hopefully you are accessing the overclocking options through BIOS, not through a windows software program.

I'm not familiar with the MSI overclocking Bios. Again, have you found advanced options within BIOS? There is usually a button you have to press within BIOS to "unlock" it. Are you running the most recent BIOS version? Note if you don't know how to update BIOS, don't mess with it if your system is running good already.

Once you get in advanced options, see if you have the option to sync cores then unselect it and you should be able to adjust cores similar to that video. If not, MSI may not allow you to individually clock cores separately, I'm not honestly sure.

If all else fails, try contacting MSI. Sorry I'm not more help on this one.

There is a cpu ratio mode where if I put it to dynamic i can go into another setting and it seems to show all cores 1,2,3,4 and I can set it individually but I don't think its working when I do, it still says 4.2ghz even though each core is different nor is the heat different.
Lets say I put it at 3.5 ghz, 4.3,4.3,4.4 it still has same 10c heat variance and still is 4.2ghz I feel like this isn't it but is the only thing I can find in the bios.
