How can I increase the capacity of my system partition? I am using Windows 7 on my laptop. My brother says that I need to increase my system partition as soon as possible, since the laptop is really slow and the free space of this system partition is also really low. What size hard drive do you have and how much free space is available? Go to your C drive right click and select properties and it should tell you how much space you have used and how much free space remaining. Assuming you are running out of room due to a lack of free space you may need to uninstall programs or move large files to another storage device if possible.
