I bought a new k95 corsair mechanical keyboard and it is great. The only issue I'm having is it is not technically "on" until windows starts so I an't use it in BIOS. Does anyone know if this is a known issue or should I contact Corsair? I can't find any new drivers for it so that isn't the problem.

In the bios is a mode called Detect usb legacy devices.
Make sure it is set to enabled in the bios settings.

Save the changes before exiting the bios.
Next time the system powers up and you press the key to enter the bios it should respond.

Then i suggest that you try to swap the usb port it is in to another one.

One with Usb legacy support should allow you to enter the bios.
So it may be the case where the keyboard is connected is not the default usb for legacy detection.
