Hi! I just finished making a new computer with all new parts. But my computer will not detect my video card. I know the video card is on because the 2 fans are working. Also there is a button on the top of the video card that turns blue when you push it.

Setup:
Sapphire Vapor-X R9 270X

Solution
A couple of questions/suggestions just to make sure:
1. Did you connect your monitor to the output of the graphics card?
2. Did you connect the two 6-pin pcie power connectors from your psu?
3. Make sure that the graphics card is seated properly onto the pcie slot of the motherboard.

Also, I don't think you're supposed to push that button while the computer is booted.

Is there a input and output on a graphics card? If so that might just be the case.
I did connect the two 6-pin power connectors to my video card.
I also unplugged it and replugged it back into the slot. I know power must be coming through the pcie slot because when I take out the power cables from the top and turn off my pc and turn it back on, the fans and light turn on even though the pci-e cables are unplugged.

By output of the graphics card, I meant one of the video outputs (your card has 2 DVI, 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort). To be able to use your graphics card, connect your monitor to one of these inputs, whichever is compatible, and NOT to your motherboard's video output ports.
