Currently I have a evga gtx 760 4gb SC ACX. Evga just recently announced the gtx 780 6gb, and I will be eligible for the step up program if I want to upgrade.
Does a 780 really perform that much better than a 760 to consider an upgrade at this point? Currently I'm assuming I'll have to pay at least $250 for an upgrade, because my 760 was $300. Also keep in mind the 780 is the regular edition and not super clocked, ti, etc.
I'm also not concerned about the VRAM, as in my opinion the 4gb I have now should be sufficient for the foreseeable future.
So if you were in my position would you step up to the 780?
