Hi everybody,

Being trying to put together a parts list for a build, and I'm not quite sure what parts are compatible despite hours of research, so if anybody can spy any problems?:)
Bear in mind the cpu selection is merely a stopgap measure to get me up and running for cheapish:??:  (need to cough up for decent monitors, keyboard etc first) and still leave scope for upgrading at a later date (possibly a Devils Canyon i7, SSD and a good cooler)

Parts List
CPU: Intel Pentium G3420 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Professional ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($163.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($92.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($57.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card ($699.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case ($99.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: Corsair 760W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($184.99 @ Best Buy)
Optical Drive: Asus BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer ($46.99 @ Newegg)
Case Fan: Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition (2-Pack) 39.9 CFM 120mm Fans ($27.33 @ Mwave)
Total: $1409.23

Rams is correct. Save some money for a better processor. Then you'll be golden.

Good luck!

An i3 processor would be double the price of the Dual Core for a component that I would be trying to junk asap.
If I was to hold off for another while would prices say about the same?

We cannot say that prices would be same when it comes to computer parts. It may increase or decrease anytime
