I have a GTX 680 overclocked, and when I run Heaven with everything maxed out at 1080P, I am only getting a score of 950. My max fps are 60, and it's been steady at 38 fps. I have Tessellation on extreme. I see most people benchmark with these settings, and get scores well over 1200. I have even lowered the overclock on the card. My system specs are:

Crosshair V Formula-Z overclocked to 4.5GHZ. 32GB Ram. Noctua NH-D14 Heatsink. Windows 8.1 64 bit. GTX-680. Any suggestions on how to get better performance?

Thanks

45-50 average, 60-70 max oc'ed (1300mhz on boost)
try lower AA.

Ok, thanks. Right now I have AA on 8. I'll try turning it off to see if that helps.

your pretty much at the max oc of 4.5 for 8120 in relation to gain in FPS returned.

I know that, but why is my fps under 40 at max settings in heaven, when people with similar setups are getting 70?

1.well i didn't know that you knew that.

2.i can't answer that. Those with your setup genuinely report as aforementioned.
I wouldn't be calling them on their reports but you need to see what is written for yourself.

Thanks. Is that the correct way to benchmark on Heaven, with everything maxed, Tessler extreme, at 1080P? Also, is a heven score in the 900's an OK score?

Yes according to what i've seen from similar setups. Some reports without saying anything more should be taken with a grain of salt.

Ok, thanks. I see all these people with scores of 1500, and wasn't sure why I wasn't close to that. Thanks for the help

1500 heaven score for any 680/770/7970ghz is not going to happen running maxed settings @ 1080p unless you are under water with the right model card doing an extreme overclock suicide run. they are using different settings to get that high of a score. for comparison… max tess 8xaa 1080p for my 780@1300ghz gets 1677 score.

you should use one of the presets that black out the settings so you know there are no changes and then compare. heaven only has a max preset for 1600x900 windowed. unigine valley has a 1080p full screen preset though.
