I am considering one or the other of the following memory on part picker:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3hmiV

I am cost driven followed by performance. I am getting 32GB for and AMD FX-8350 plus M5A97 LE R2.0 mobo. I am building 4-6 of these machines as
my budget allows for a part time Beowulf cluster and Part time Xen Cloud.

which memory offers better performance? If there is an alternate suggestion under $US160 per 2x8GB I am open as well. Just remember I am building these nodes over 4 months so the parts need to be available until August or so.

I always get confused over the CAS timings information.

Thanks.

CAS, lower is better (quicker) so currently the Kingston stuff would be my option. The thing to be aware of here is that RAM prices are very volatile (which is why I say "currently" there) so prices a week from now may not at all be reflective of what you're looking at today
