No detection besides VGA GTX 750

before i begin i have googled and saw im not the only one and its a driver issue. anyways i got the GTX 750 OC yesterday and love its performance compared to my hd 6570 it kicks its butt but im having issues with hdmi and dvi. it only works in dvi to vga both monitor and my LCD hdtv. i have tried dvi to hdmi and only works on the port that the vga adapter works on. my old card did work though. hopefully you guys can help i aint sending it back...

side note i am wanting to sell my old card

Found something interesting. if i start up with just a hdmi on port 1 it will work but heres the issue...once i plug in the dvi adapter that came with the card it shuts off the hdmi (actually i didnt even plug it in completely). i know theres a dvi-i and dvi-d but i dont know if it matters also i have a 400w PSU dont know if i need a higher like 500w to even plug them both in. i was going to use a kvm vga switch but i really want to get this working.
