Hey, I'm building a new gaming PC and considering my budget I decided to go for GTX 760 2GB graphics card. Which one GTX 760 is best for overclocking? I've heard very good opinions on Gigabyte's and MSI's models. Also, I heard that It's possible to overclock GTX 760 all the way to GTX 770's level. Is It possible? (I doubt it, but I'm a newbie.) I'm going to use Corsair Carbide 300R Windowed Compact case, Corsair RM650 gold rated PSU and (most likely) MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard.

It has components more specific to overclockers such as a dual BIOS, voltage detection points, an "enhanced power design." 2 8-pin connectors, and more voltage control options. It also looks better and has a backplate :D

Well the MSI GTX 760 Hawk should technically be the best for overclocking but your higher clocks might not justify the price premium because of diminishing returns. And there is no way to overclock a 760 to 770 levels, it just doesnt have enough cores for that kind of performance.

Thats just the stock clocks they are coming at. They are not that good for OC because they are not on full length PCBs. Worse power delivery hampers their performance to full length PCB cards such as some MSI, Gigabyte, EVGA etc.

Why Is Hawk better than Gaming for OC? From what I've seen they have the same Twin Frozr IV cooling and Hawk edition just has higher clock.

Okay, thanks for info, I'm going to stick with the Gaming edition because of price difference + most of parts I picked for new PC have red details so It'll actually look better :p .

Awesome. I have the same card myself and it still overclock quite nicely. Try 1280 on core and 3557 on mem
