Hi there!

I need the wireless network driver for a HP Pavilion DV9500. I've installed Windows 7 on it, but I've heard the vista drivers will do the job. Can't find the driver anywhere.

We will need a little more info. Either a) the full model number of the computer (dv9500 is a line, there should be more numbers on the bottom of the computer on an HP sticker) or the ven and dev info of the wireless adapter (you can get this by going into device manager, right clicking on the unknown device, selecting properties, details, then hardware IDs. Just copy and paste the shortest one).

The model is a DV9655eo Pavilion. And the wifi adapter is a: Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wifi Adapter

I looked up hardware ID's, and this appeared (keep in mind there's a unstable driver currently installed):
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&SUBSYS_1367103C&REV_03
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&SUBSYS_1367103C
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4328&CC_0280

EDIT:
I updated the driver from device manager, and it hasn't crashed just yet. I will use it for a little bit and see if t remains stable. If not I'll return here and also try the ftp link you found;)

Just so you know, that link is a direct link to HP's official download for that specific driver.

Edit: and here is a link to the official Dell driver for that exact hardware: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/network/R189136.exe
