Sleeping dogs loud fan speed and heat

The fans are supposed to automatically ramp up when either the CPU or GPU are under load - so that much is perfectly normal. As long as the game and your system are stable while gaming then there it is unlikely anything has gotten 'too' hot but you can check the temps with all sorts of software if you want to be sure. I suppose if the case feels really hot then maybe you need some more ventilation to be safe.

Hm so its cuz my cpu is good and the gpu sucks?

No, why do you say that? Both CPU and GPU will increase fan speed when you game.

I also had a heat issue with my gtx460.
what i did to solve this issue:
I`m not sure if it had any effect but it definitely wouldn't have a negative effect so I searched and flashed the newest vbios of the GPU.
i also renewed the thermal paste with some arctic silver. This made my gpu approximately 7 degrees celcius lower. it went from 83 to 76C in game.
Now it also takes longer until the gpu reaches its max temp in game. before it only took 1 minute and now it takes 10 minutes, maybe even more.

now the only issue I noticed is that my I7 960 CPU is running around 80C in game and makes this game freeze at certain moments. I believe this is because of the high temps from the cpu and the throttling.
I didnt renewed the thermal paste on the cpu yet but this is the next thing i will try to lower temps.

This game is definatly not debugged still there are some things that can make your game play smoother.

the gt 640 might be a problem. its not very capable of playing games. you might want to focus on getting a low profile 1080 if you really want to stick with the desktop stuff. though i actually dont recommend to stay with a desktop configuration if you are into gaming.

if there are others coming across this page you might want to try renewing the thermal paste of both cpu and gpu before thinking to buy new hardware.
go with arctic silver. this should be the best cooling for your buck solution. if you do get new hardware make sure your PSU is sufficient.
