Hello,

So there is a pretty good deal going on at NCIX and I was wondering if I could get your guys's opinion as to which of these coolers are better.

So I am considering the Swiftech H220 or the Corsair H100i.

Both are cut down in price quite a bit and seem to be good for the money but I have no clue as to which might be better. If I were to go on the quality of the fans alone I would probably go with the 100i but fans can be swapped out and I really do not know much about the rad itself.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks! :)

The H220 hands down! It has a copper/brass radiator, the H100i is aluminum. The pump on the H220 is much better than the H100i also, you can expand the H220 if you want to add in your GUP, you cannot with the H100i

Ah! I did not know this, this makes it a really easy decision. Thank you for the quick answer and I am off to buy it now. I thought expandabilty was limited to the ones you have to put together by hand. knowing that the h220 is expandable and is made of better material makes this decision an easy one, especially since it is only $10 more.

Thank you for your help!

That's very helpful, thank you. I didn't know there were comparison articles out there already, I saw the h220 and immediately came here to ask, not thinking about searching for it before hand, in my mind I was just like, the tomshardware community knows everything so if I am going to find a definite answer it would be here.

Thanks for the links and I'll read them over thoroughly.
