I'm currently in the process of purchasing parts for my first PC and despite researching for months, I can't decide on which motherboard or CPU to choose.

My build is going to be:
CPU: i5 4670K or i5 4570
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
RAM: A-Data 2x4GB DDR3-1600
Storage: 240GB Kingston SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
GPU: MSI Gtx 770 2GB
Case: Fractal Design Define R4(with side window)
PSU: Corsair RM750W

I would like to put my 770 in SLI in the furture, or at least have the option to do so, but with the 750w PSU, I feel like that would be too much to handle if i choose to overclock a 4670K.
If i choose the 4570, I would feel more comfortable with putting my card in SLI.

Also, I'm having a hard time deciding on a motherboard. I was looking at the MSI Z87-G45, but i can't seem to distinguish the difference between that board and something cheaper like the Asrock Extreme 3. Would I any difference in performance or would I be paying extra for the flashy dragon design. Any suggestions are appreciated whether it's answering my questions or any other advice you may have.

a 4670k is overall better and can overclock much better.

i would go with a 4670k

with Asus sabertooth z87

or Asus maximus hero.

Thanks for answering, but I am not willing to spend that much on a motherboard. $160 is about as high as I'm willing to go.
