Before overclock, my idle temps were 30-40 degrees, and load temps were 60
After overclock, my idle temps are 39-40 degrees, and my load temps are 60-70
This doesn't seem right.

I have re-seated the heat-sink about 4 times, adding washers to the back-plate, but to no avail.
I am positive it is seated correctly, and it does not wiggle at all.

I am using corsairlink2 to measure temps

Also, i have noticed that my "H100i" temp never goes above 31 degrees, even when my CPU is pushing 60

And the H100i pump measure seems to always stay the same

Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks
Luke

What are your ambient temperatures like? How do you have your radiator oriented and how are the fans oriented? A radiator with fans set as intake will usually have a ~3-5 degree difference from one set as exhaust, unless your ambient temps are in the low 20c range, I don't think a mid 30's idle is too worrisome, especially if you have your radiator set in the top of the case as an exhaust.

Yes I did.
Cleaned with arctic silver kit and applied arctic silver 5 each time I reseated it.

An update to the temps of my PC
After going back to default settings @3.4GH/z
My temps are : 35-42 idle
And up to 55 degrees under load (playing mid range graphics games)
When i run prime95 my temps go 60-70 so i stop it.

My ambient temps are around 22 degrees, but go up as my PC heats up my room

My radiator is top mounted on the inside, with fans on the outside sucking air into the radiator and case
My case is Zaliman Z11 Plus
I have one fan at front, sucking air in, one at back blowing out, and one on either side.

At the time of positioning/building my computer, I placed the PSU with the fan facing up (bottom mounted), but i am not sure that would make too much difference to CPU temps.

As for the Mounting of the contact for watercooler.
I made sure to put the backplate on the right way (did that a while ago, its a common mistake I think)
Put washers on the screws to bring the contact closer to CPU and eliminate and wiggle.
Thanks,
Luke
