Basically, will I be able to play games like battlefield 4 on high on a high def monitor?

Processor: AMD FX-6300 6 core
CPU Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper TX3
Thermal Compound: Arctic mx4
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0- Already bought (shouldn't have bought le but its too late)
Case: DIYPC Solar M1-G- Already bought
GPU: MSI r9 270 oc gaming edition- Already bought
PSU: EVGA 500 B 80+ bronze
RAM: Either Kingston HyperX blu 8gb (1x8) or HyperX black 8gb (2x4)
HDD: Probably a 120gb hdd that I already had and a 320-500gb that I would buy

Thanks
-Matt

You can probably get medium-high with that setup. Hopefully the PSU is big enough - that would be my only real concern.

For reference: Several recent BF4 vids with FX 6300 and R9 270 show good FPS on high. Check them out. You should be fine.

I agree on the power supply. 500w is a bit close to the minimum. I'd recommend 550w-650w to have a bit more overhead for cool, quiet operation and peak efficiency.
