Hey guys! It's my first time posting here, forgive me if its in the wrong forum/ bad syntax!

I have had a problem with this computer for quite a while. Regardless of what I'm doing, with random time intervals in between(be it 1 day, 1 week, or even a month), the computer hangs! Mouse is unresponsive, everything freezes, any sound that was playing just repeats itself! And, if i click the CAPS lock button, it doesn't light up/ turn off on the keyboard! Even with browsing or gaming or anything, this just happens. Here are my specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit
CPU: Intel i3 - 3220 CPU @ 3.3GHz
RAM: Kingston 4GB 1Rx8 512M x 64-Bit PC3-10600 (1 stick)
Motherboard: ASUS P8H77 - VLE (BIOS 0403)
Graphics: Cross-firing two AMD Radeon HD6850 cards
Hard Drive: 2000GB Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166
PSU: Orion HP585D (585w MAX)

Things I've done so far:

1. Ran memtest 2 times, 7 passes each, no problems
2. Used the computer with and without crossfire (and used each video card separately), still freezes.
3. Video card drivers are up to date
4. I literally just reformatted yesterday, fresh new install, barely anything on the hard drive. A week after, it started freezing. ( it happened before formatting as well)
5. Ran video card and CPU stress tests (not for very long though, got scared)
6. Ran SeaTools, no problems found, although there is endless clicking and a faint, high pitched sound in the hard drive even when the computer is idle.

The reason the title says Bad PSU? is because this power supply has been used for quite a long dang time, and I used a few power calculators (don't know if they're unreliable or not) and each one says my PSU is not enough for my hardware.

So if you guys could help me with this hanging issue, I'll be forever in your debt, I'm losing my mind :p VERY sorry for the lengthy message! Other than hanging, the computer runs perfectly!
