This is my build http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/oo2k15/saved/3OqO
I'm using this ram http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/patriot-memory-pv316g213c1k

As you can tell from the ram is 2133mhz but I'm getting 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 instead by default. So i changed the suggested tested timings to 11-11-11-30 in the bios to get that advertised speed of 2133mhz but is unstable and it keep crashing. I try 1866mhz speed instead with tested timings of 10-11-10-30 with 1.5v and it works. Been using for days now no problem at all is stable. The problem is getting that 2133mhz stable timings.

So I was wondering if any one of you know any stable timings without crashing for this ram. Should I increase DRAM voltage? The default is 1.5v the motherboard suggest that I don't go over 1.5v or it will become unstable or even worst fry my ram. Yes my motherboard support 2133mhz. Yes i've already install the latest BIOS.

If you wanna know how my bios look like watch this video. My bios is exactly like that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXb8yctGQbI

These are my bios setup http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c137/estset/photo1.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c137/estset/photo2.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c137/estset/photo1-1.jpg

I did Mem86 test on my ram. Both of the sticks is good no errors. Tried running each module separately I can get 2133mhz when using single channel no problem. But when I use it in dual channel thats when the crashing and problem start. I've tried asking my friends for help but he doesn't know the answer. I have post this question in many site to get help.

Any suggestions on how I can solve this issue? Should I return the ram and get a different pair of kits? Or will I get the same problem. Thx.

Yeah i've done that. It does give me the advertised speed of 2133mhz but is unstable and it crashes. So I have to enable AMP and manually changed the timings instead.

EDIT: Looks like l've figured out whats the problem was. I have to adjust the DRAM Voltage and increase the voltage to 1.57v+ from default of 1.5v to get that stable timings. I've tried 1.55v, 1.56v they all crash. 1.57v+ work like a charm.

Sounds very bad, because it is 1.5v RAM and should run stable at this voltage. RMA it, if you can! The sticks are faulty and will never run as stable as it should be.
