My friends wants to build a computer and it stands between those 2 MoBo's. Which one is the best?

+1 on Maximus Hero (got it myself)
Looks nice, overclocks well, nice 2-digit display for easy problem solving if somethings wrong with the pc.

If he could i would opt for maximus vi gene if its the same price, since its almost the same just compatible with m-atx cases. And even as m-atx it supports sli/cf if needed.

I have no experience with the gigabyte board, but the hero or gene is not a bad choice at all.

I would vote for the Asus. Asus ROG motherboards are great.

The 249 four egg reviews to 26 three egg reviews for the gigabyte board also agrees with my view.
