So, I have been a console gamer for a couple of years now, but I have pretty muched sensed the end. I'm not sure about Xbone & PS4, but I'm now in the market for a gaming, well, computer, and I don't know what to get. I travel between McCall, Sun Valley, and Boise often, as my older family members have condos at both. I would like a laptop, but after looking at others posts, I have come to the conclusion that PCs are years better. I have a Mac, that can run some games, not many. It IS a laptop, BTW.
I have a 2,500 dollar budget.
So, if you could recommend me a PC or a laptop that is within that range.
Sorry, noob question time : Is a small PC still better than a laptop?

A small PC will get you better performance for the price given that you have monitors and peripherals at the places you plan to visit. Otherwise, I'd just get a laptop. The new Razer Blade fits in your budget and is top-of-the-line.

PC will perform better in comparison to a laptop, no doubt, but as you said you will be moving around, so laptop is a logical choice. Get yourself an MSI or Razer Blade and you are good to go.
