Recently i built a my first computer, finished it about a week and a half ago, and i've been getting a blue screen whenever i play games, specifically dota 2. I didn't start getting these until about 2 or 3 days ago, i've uninstalled and reinstalled all my drivers, i even installed the beta drivers for my gpu. Please help me if you can.

my specs are:
AMD FX-4300
ASRock 990FX Extreme3
XFX R7 260x
and Corsair DDR3 8gb (2x 4gb)
and i'm running windows 8.1 as the OS

Solution
Hey, you'll need to load a list of all shell-extensions, identify and remove malfunctioning items. This process can be done automatic with this fix-it. If the problem still persists, here are some other steps that you may try:

Manual troubleshooting instructions for your problem:

1. Insert Windows installation disc in your DVD ROM Drive.
2. Press F2 or Delete key repeatedly.
3. CMOS Settings will open.
4. Set First Boot Device as your DVD ROM Drive; and Second Boot Device as your Hard Disk Drive.
5. Save the settings, exit.
6. Reboot and press any key when prompted to do so.
7. Let the setup wizard load.
8. Click "Repair my computer" link.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions.
