I am running 2x gtx 680 2 gb cards i can see both cards in device manager and have enabled sli in nvidia control panel. Fresh install windows 7 newest version nvidia driver and update bios and chipset.things i have done to try and fix are swapped out the SLI bridge changing the position of the cards ran in fullscreen mode swapped out power cables. The cards are identical and running same bios my power supply is a corsair ax 1200W 3570K 3.5GHZ 32GB 1866MHz DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Memory Corsair H100 Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler 2 Samsung 256GB SSDS 2 Seagate 2TB HDDS Z77 Sabertooth Motherboard ASUS Xonar Phoebus soundcard My 680 are running 8x 8x in th top two PCIE X16 slots and my soundcard is in the bottom PCIE X16 slot at 4x is my soundcard taking up bandwith from my gpu or maybe a driver conflict somewhere please help thanks dan

The sound card driver? It would be best, but not mandatory. If you don't plan on using the sound card back in that slot, I would uninstall it, yes. Then I'd run CCleaner to clean up any registry errors, junk files, and resource wasting crap that may be left over. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
