I recently bought an Intel Pentium 4 3.00GHz/1M/800 478 socket (ebay, was cheap) and didn't even think to see that my computer can only handle a 533MHz P4. I don't wish to buy a new computer because i'd be too tempted to spend all my time on it, as i'm starting to go to the gym.

I currently have the "D845GVSR" motherboard, which is DDR1 and supports 2GB ram. My PSU is 200W, and I have an Nvidia Geforce 8400 gs GPU.

What motherboard would be a good upgrade and would support all of this? (including the 800MHz pentium 4)

Note: Chances are i'll be buying it from Ebay from a trusted seller.

If you want a DDR1 motherboard, buy literally anything thats on Ebay with your socket. Your not going to be able to buy that retail and there are probably very few floating around, so your going to be limited by whats available, not what we might think is best.

I want to upgrade it because it will be cheap, and as I said with a new system i'd be too inclined to sit on my ass all day playing LoL.

I just want a cheap upgrade, if you're not going to help then don't answer or i'll report you for spam.

I'm just trying to recommend not wasting money on a long obsolete system. You can if you want to, but for what ever you're going to end up spending....you could find a 10x better performing new system.

I've had P4 systems. And equivalent AMD systems. Several of them. I still have one running today, as a whole house firewall box.
Today, anything more than $25-$30 for a whole system is wasted.

And I think you need to look up the definition of 'spam'.

Yes I do know that, but if I wanted a new computer i'd have gone to tigerdirect and bought one. I specifically asked for a ddr1 motherboard.
