Hello,
I'm struggling to pinpoint the reason this is happening. Hopefully you all can help.
I built a computer about two weeks ago and it shuts down while playing Race Room Racing game on Steam. First game I've tried. It doesn't crash per say but goes into shutdown and turns off. The screen goes black and then it begins to shutdown. I turned off the option in Start up and Recovery that Automatically restarts upon system failure, but it still does it. My temps might be high, especially the 260. Is it hot enough to put it in shut down though?

Let me know what you all think. thanks

Is that an Idle temperature? If it is then your AMD Radeon's temperature is so high making it to shutdown the pc due to overheat.

What should it be? Idle is 67. Can you recommend a good cooler/fan? I'm also just running the stock fan on the CPU. Should I replace that as well?

It is that one. It is very high for that temperature.

When you alt tab to check those temperatures the temperature lowers a bit since the game graphics is minimized but when you are "ingame" the temperature becomes high again not like when you check those temps.
