I recently received a new 4gb dual channel ram kit with two sticks. I've tried them without my old ram and with my old ram, and the only way I can get my pc to boot past a black screen is when the two old sticks are in the first two slots and at least one stick is in the third or fourth slot. If I put the two sticks before the old ones it stays on a black screen. My OS is Windows 7 64 bit, my motherboard is an ASUS M4A77TD, and the ram sticks are Patriot PSD34G133KH 4GB PC3 - 10600 1333MHz sticks and are also RoHS Compliant. Also, I'd like to add that the two sticks worked fine in one of my school computers, and ram from the school computer that were the same type and memory size worked fine in my computer as well. Please help, I just recently had to ship that other computer back and now I can't use the ram from that computer and my computer can barely handle anything.
