I have a GTX 580 that I have had sitting around in an ESD bag for about 12 months. I was looking to use it in a secondary gaming rig for a coming up LAN party, but I am running into some issues.

I am running windows 7 64-bit and 335.23 drivers from Nvidia

I have a GTX 670 which works on both systems without issue.

When I initially put the GTX 580 in, windows needed a driver update (not through nvidia) and asked for a restart.
When I boot up the system w/ the 580 in both computers, I sometimes get a blue screen, or I get a black screen followed up by a restart. This was repeatable in both systems. When I plugged the 670, everything worked fine like nothing happened.

Here are screenshots of Windows Problem details:

Is the card busted? Given that I am no longer under warranty, what options do I have?

It will show the Windows four logo colors come together, but when it should load the desktop screen it blackscreens and restarts.
Yes, I can boot into safemode.
When I initially put the graphics card in, the system was at the lowest resolution. This happens to both computers which I have put the graphics card into.
