I have an issue. I recently had a mobo get deep fried by a faulty AiO liquid cooling system, I am currently in the process of rebuilding. I want to install windows 8 but the drive i have already has windows 7 installed. If i was to insert the windows 8 disc would it just go to install over windows 7 or will that cause issues? (BTW OS is installed on an SSD)
I need help with installing windows 8.

Go into Boot Manager or something similar after the PC POST, but before Windows, by hitting F12 or similar.
Select CD/DVD drive.
Select CD/DVD drive.

Just clean install. Remove the partitions and create partitions again then install Windows 8.1.
Just as the other one said, Try pressing F12 for boot options to boot to CD/DVD Drive then make sure you press any key when it asks you to.
