Hi
I have a Lenovo ideapad u310. The Screen is busted, and unusable. I know however that the computer itself is functional. The problem with these laptops is that there is no VGA port, only HDMI that only activates when selected in the OS. The computer has no OS at the moment because i had to replace the HDD. The Fn keys to choose the HDMI output do not work in POST/BIOS.
i would like to install windows/ubuntu and use it with a External Monitor. is there some bootable software that i could use, that would send a signal to an external monitor?
Do you have any other ideas/solutions?
