Wifi adapter not bieng able to connect to my network

HI ALL:), i bought a wifi adapter (link below) and i either downloaded driver or installed with cd, nothing, not able to connect to my network which is right downstairs, i tried uninstalling and installing again, nothing,updating driver, restarting adapter and router, and still nothing, i have tried and played with the setting and nothing, if any1 has any ideas before i RMA the thing back would be awesome, like if i missed some setting i have to be on or something plz help

so if this 1 works why cant my new 1 work.....

sir that was way too much for me to read and understand i skimmed through it and if the mac address means 802.1 that yes it is....

so tell me if i got this straight im looking for the physical address and there should be 1 on my router.....but if my adapter does pick it up just on low doesnt that mean its the same, i mean the connection is there sometimes, just not useable 1 mbps......
