Is my hard-drive crapping out?

Hello everyone, I have had my computer for about 8 months, and recently a lot of things have been going to shit. It started with some blue screens here and there, "Kernel Data In-page error x70000" or something similar. Now, it happens multiple times a day. Also, a lot of games crash saying "Device I/O error". All these errors point to my hard drive as the culprit. I am a teen and am semi-tech savvy, but I have tried everything. I don't have the money to replace it, either.
Things I have tried:
Chkdsk
Defragging using defraggler
Full format and re-install windows
Cleaning computer/checking wires
WD Lifeguard diagnostic (Get error )

Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Ram: 8gb ripjaws ddr3-1600
Video Card: Asus 670 direct CU mini
CPU: Intel I5 4570
Case: NZXT Phantom
PSU: Corsair 500w semi-modular bronze
Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB

Trying the seagate one results in the short DST test failing, same with the long generic. I will try a few others but it is not looking good. Thanks for the list.

Hard drives go bad, if it's still under warranty (WD has some of the best warranties and support) just get an RMA or a replacement.

Did you have the opportunity to run a diagnostics test? If it is indeed "crapping out" as you put it, James is correct. WD does stand by their products rather well. This link is to Western Digital's warranty support. Click it and it will inform you on how to contact WD for warranty support and/or replacement of the drive.

One more thing: If you can, you need to make a backup of the drive ASAP! Hard drives don't always go bad all at once. You may still have a chance to clone the drive. But even if you do have that chance, your time may be vanishing. And once it's gone, it's gone forever. If you have very important data and you find that you cannot access, retrieve or backup your data, there are companies that specialize in data recovery to damaged disks.

Thank you everyone for the replies. I wasn't exactly sure how the rma/warranty worked, but this helped. I actually still have most stuff backed up since I formatted my drive about a week ago. I will try to rma it. Once again, thanks.

Edit: Newegg says it has a 2 year return policy. When I typed in my Serial to rma it, WD claimed it was out of region. I bought it from Newegg and I live in Pennsylvania. I will shoot them an email, but does anyone have any other ideas?
