I have a Sony Vaio Fit 15 about 8 months old, when i turn it on it instantly turns off. I am able to turn it on again and it doesn't happen again. Does anyone have any idea of what could possibly be wrong, everything works fine with the laptop. It's just at the start when its been off for a bit and i try to turn it on. any suggestions on fixing or ideas that could possibly be wrong would be great help. Thanks.

Well I had a similar thing happen on a desktop, it wouldn't boot up the first time each day, or if it had been off for a few hours. Turned out to be bad ram, the mobo was failing a diagnostic check, and halting the first boot up.

You can always check this with memtest86+, look for the version that makes a bootable usb drive.
