Phantom 410 fan controller not working help!

So I have hooked everything up, and the fans are on and spinning, but when I use the controller I see no difference in fan speed, and all that goes up is the led brightness. Is it defective?

If the fans' LED brightness is increasing, then the voltage to the fan motors is increasing. Hence, the fans RPM has to be increasing. But if the fans are connected to the fan controller, don't expect to see any speed feedback displayed. Or if you do, it is a bogus display.
