hello communities;

I am looking to install additional hard drive into my reg.

I am currently having two "1 TB" hard drive "WD Blue & WD Black". I was thinking of adding a WD Blue 320 GB making it a 2.3 TB hard drive.

The case I am using is azza solaris
"https://www.google.com/search?q=azza+solaris&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=8fQ0U536GbC-2AWIxIGYCw&sqi=2&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1600&bih=805" -- with an intake 120 LED Fan fan.

my question is it piratical to install the third 320 GB drive since my case only support four hard drive.

also, the motherboard support unto six drive but one the sata port is using for optical drive.

when I said piratical, I mean -- will there be room for cool air from "the intake Fan" to pass through?

any advice is greatly appreciate.

also -- my motherboard is an entry level board from gigabytes -- 78LMT-USB3.

thank.

The air flow would be restricted slightly but the PC would still work fine.

There's really no point in adding a third, smaller drive unless you actually need the space. It also won't be a "2.3TB" drive it will be three drives so each one will have it's own drive letter (i.e. E, F, and G) if you don't partition them further.

Not sure why you mention the SATA connectors since you have six and are installing four SATA devices at most.

the mobo had six sata fours locate on button and two on top.

the case had only four 3.5 drive bay.

so what you are saying my two 1 TB drive is more than enough?

If I want more, just replace one of the 1 TB with a 2 TB since my mobo sata port only support 2 TB drive max.

thank for the response.
