I installed a new LAN card because my old one wasn't detecting a connection. Now the new one takes much time to detect (ranging from 5 minutes to around 1 hour) after starting the pc and even then does not give a good speed ( which i got earlier) (getting a lot of drops in ping). But surprisingly, sometimes the old LAN card on my motherboard starts working but if i restart my computer, it again shows no connection. In short it randomly works sometimes. And i get decent speed on it when it works. Any ideas on what the problem might be and its solution?? Ya, and immediate connection is obtained on any other PC or laptop with good speeds.
