As stated in description. I need a FireWire that will fit my motherboard or any other way I can add a port. Not a adapter though. I bought. 2 differently configured cards and neither fit my board.
My computer is a hp pavilion

What were the cards?

You'll need PCIe ones.

Both are pcie not sure of other but 1 iee1394

IEEE 1394 is firewire; it wouldn't be much of a firewire card if it wasn't.

If they were PCIe, they will fit.

Can you give me model numbers or links to the cards?

I can not find a model # but I was told. It was pcie probably isn't though based on what u say. Can you possibly send me a link to one so I can see buy if it looks like it will fit?

This is a PCIe card, and should fit.
