I'm wondering whether I should get an Asus PB278Q IPS 2560x1440 monitor which costs only $699, or the Asus PQ321Q IPS 3840x2160 4K monitor which is extremely expensive, costing $3499 which is WAY out of my budget. Is there a huge difference in image quality between a 2560x1440 display and a 4K display? Plus, buying the PB278Q would save me even more money on graphics card, as I would only have to buy 2 EVGA GTX 780 Tis (the 6GB version that EVGA is going to release soon) compared to 3 Tis for a 4K monitor, which would also lead to me spending $100 more on the PSU. I would buy the under $1000 4K monitors that will be released in June, but those are TN and TN looks horrible for 60Hz and a 28 inch 4K screen.
