Can any one help!
The Board was new in the box thru Amazon The CPU was new thru Mega Micro  Devices
I looked the cpu part numbers on the Asus (for the board) web site and ordered them boxed with heat sink and fan.  The first rebuild (NEW Mother board and cpu ) WORKED FOR 2 WEEKS and died  I figured may be the cpu failed and Ordered a new one it did not even boot no beeps only fans run. I contacted Asus and after supplying everything I was told the WARRANTY WAS ONLY GOOD FOR 1 YEAR FROM MANUFACTURER DATE AND AND NOT PURCHASE DATE !! THEREFORE THE BOARD WAS OUT OF WARRANTY .  NOTE EVERY VERY THING I HAVE BOUGHT HAS ALWAYS BEEN
WARRANTIED FORM DATE OF PURCHASE NOT MANUFACTURE DATE.
I worked in avionics in the military I have a wooden work bench without any metal parts in it fabrication I use TWO antic straps one from the case to a special outlet adapter to the case and one from my wist strap to the case , I have an ANTI-STATIC  mat on top of the  WOOD bench I have Built several  computers from scratch without a problem.
ANY  other ideas what might be going on I do not think the cpu is bad But Asus will not
take it in for testing under WARRANTY! I have wasted time contacting Asus ( they took a long time to get back to me I tried the Asus forum and its over 2 months trying to get help to no avail.
