Ok, i got HP DC7900 CMT's Board, im runing C2D E8600 and HD 7750 with 6gb ram.

My motherboard is q45 express chipset or whatver this branded hp's dc7900 cmt have with BIOS VERSION 786G1 v01.11 11/4/2008..

as u can see my bios is old enough even though im able to run games smoothly and system is in a good condition no performance issue but i got little bit of slow down on fps or stturing while gaming on some games like Saints Row 3 where i know it should not sttuter or lag...is this a bios problem...?should i update BIOS becuz its 2008's Version...

The second problem is that im running win 7 ultimate 64bit and the hp driver support is not available for windows 7 ultimate..i found my mobo's driver but i didnt find the file supported for win 7 ultimate..any suggestion would be welcomed...???

At last Sorry for my bad english...

Solution
This likely isn't a BIOS problem, but the 'windows 7 professional 64 bit' BIOS update on HP's website should work just fine, and if it doesn't you would have to do it through some sort of bootable DOS maybe?

I have to say though that SR3 is pretty poorly coded for PC and in the absence of further information I'm going to blame the game.

If you don't have the correct drivers for the system and are trying to run games on higher settings you will have issues with that CPU and video card. Both are lower end for gaming. You should be able to use any Windows 7 version drivers with the system, although a few drivers I have seen that say they are for one version will refuse to run on another.

ok i've updated my bios...and after a long struggle for running this sh...t game on my whatever low-end system is not going to be succes..even on lowest settings and lowest ever resolution this aint gonna work on my system...

so i also want to blame the game at last....i know my system is not that high-end but i surpasses all the reccommended requirement for the this sr3 game...

but people with high-end system should be able to play that game smoothly...so the game devs should have to release the requirement according to their sh..ty games which are badly optmized...

thx lucotf for that advise...i've updated my bios with that win 7 professional's bios version and it works well....

Glad I could help :)

By the way the E8600 is good for lots of games, have you thought about upgrading the GPU? You could put a 7770 in there or even a 7850 if you upgrade the PSU... I did a 7850+PSU with my DC7900 CMT E8400 (although I had to modify the case slightly to fit a standard ATX PSU in it).

hmm..i hope i could try that...

i've recently buy this pc let say on a budget...but really it would be great if this machine will able to oc the processor...

lot of people says that i have to upgrade my cpu becoz this E8600 is bottelnecking my hd 7750....but slightly...

so, what would be the great deal?? upgrading this setup or buy something modern after a year so...??
