To max or get high setting no still. These setting would maybe get you playing the games but with low FPS at their lowest settings.

In games like BF4 especially online anything below 50 fps puts you at a HUGE disadvantage so 30fps is terrible anyway. The original posters current setup will get him low fps even on low settings if playing at 1080p. He would need to upgrade his gpu to get better results. Here are some benchmarks. It did ok in on low settings in bioshock but thats low settings. In bf4 they had to turn down the res off of 1080p.

well he's not a massive gamer if he tries to play games with pc like that so 30 fps would satisfy him he's only asking would it run it

The amd 6300 setup is better but add 8gb instead of 6 and you really need to uograde from the 250. The 260x or 270x would be a much better gpu for gaming.

I never said those frame-rates would be acceptable? I merely said that a low frame-rate, is what would be expected from that hardware configuration. Please, take your odd need to create issues where they don't exist, to a forum where it's appropriate. You are only causing problems here.

Well, the R7 250 is a reskin of the 7770, and the 7770 is on the higher end of entry level cards.
It should run you well if you're gaming at 1080p at a low/medium setting combination.

It's not too bad to be used as a temporary card until you can save up for something a little better.
If you step up your budget just $100, to about $200 I could see a R9 270X and 660 coming to you.

All your choice though, any card that I listed will work for now.

Okay guys let me be honest i have run far more games on geforce 210 more than i even thought was impossible. I have nearly played all the famous dx10 games and on it, and r7 250 will at least get him 30 fps and that is the least and that is enough. 30 fps is not that bad if you are low on budget. I ran rivals on geforce 210 but on settings at low and at 640x480 resolution but hey i atleast ran it.

Update: I just check that card on game debate and it is giving 79% performance on low settings, means smooth 30 to 40 fps on low settings and 30 fps on med settings although processor have to be a good one to run watch dogs and bf4, rivals but you will run it.

The requirements by the developers are for 50 to 60 fps, i have asked more than 30 threads on tomshardware about geforce 210 running a game and on personal opinion all the games that you guys said i couldn't run i ran them and i was smoothly playing. It all comes down to you, if you are taking a risk than take it, i always wanted to prove people wrong and to be honest i felt excellent when i ran those games like a boss :p  , Some people are always on short budget, if you got dx11 and even a slightest chance to run it, run it. That's all i have to say.

This isn't to be an insult but running like a boss would mean running at 1080p minimum with atleast high-ultra graphics While maintaining atleast 60FPS.

Okay that is a little far fetched but they were smooth, playable and i can completely understand what was happening. My point here is that r7 250 is enough for gaming on low to med settings and in some cases high to ultra settings. That card will build with the purpose for people on short budget who want good graphics for their short budget, and keeping 7770 as a role model while building that card was certainly not a bad idea. To be honest none of us have actually tried that card and we are suggesting only on our personal experience. The only way is to try and it is not like that those games will completely not run, they will run and they will be understandable but a little sacrifice on the graphics is the call every one has to make that has low budget.
